Hi, I'm Cody!
I became interested in photography as a way of connecting with the natural world and sharing the moments that inspire me. I specialize in landscape and wildlife photography, driven by a deep love and respect of nature and wildlife. In particular, I love the amazing animals (especially orcas!) and ecosystems of the PNW.
Whether I'm hiking to a mountain overlook before sunrise, exploring a rugged coastline, or waiting patiently for wildlife to appear, I'm always searching for authentic moments that showcase the beauty and character of our amazing planet. My goal is to create images that inspire curiosity, appreciation, and a desire to protect the environments and species that make our planet so remarkable.
When I'm not behind the camera, you'll usually find me exploring new trails, traveling, playing baseball, hanging out with my two dogs and my wife, or learning something new! Professionally, I'm an aerospace engineer with a bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Washington and a master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Arizona.
Thank you for visiting my gallery—I hope my photographs help you experience even a fraction of the awe and respect I have for our beautiful planet!
