Hello! I’m a landscape and wildlife photographer based in Tucson, Arizona, but raised in beautiful Northwest Washington. I started photography at the end of 2023 and I’m still learning tons every time go out. My long term goal is to help inspire positive change and a love of nature through the art of wildlife and landscape photography. Photography is a powerful medium to educate and inspire others, and I’m constantly keeping this in mind when I go out to take pictures.
I am passionate about wildlife and protecting the environment they live in. In particular, I’m passionate about one the symbols of Western Washington, the Southern Resident Orcas. My dream is to eventually photograph this amazing community of orcas and raise awareness of some of the factors leading to their plight. Also on my bucket list is visiting every US National Park.
I shoot both film and digital photography. For digital photography, I currently use a Sony A7IV with the Sigma 24-70mm f2.8 II, the Sony 35mm f1.4 GM, and the Sony 200-600 G. For film photography, I shoot with a Nikon F2. My favorite film stock are Kodak Ektar 100, Kodak Ektachrome 100, and Fujifilm Provia 100.
Some photographers that I draw inspiration from for are Tom Mangelsen, Christina Mittermeier,  Paul Nicklen, Emmett Sparling, and many others.
